Hybrid Solar Eclipse of 1930 April 28
in western USA or eastern Canada

On 1930 April 28, California got a peek at a hybrid solar eclipse that enabled accurate measurements of the path position of the Moon’s umbra. Such observations were already done during the hybrid solar eclipse on 1912 April 17 near Paris in France.

The next opportunity will be the annular of 1948 in Japan.
