Total Solar Eclipse of 2030 November 25
 in Namibia or Australia

The point of greatest eclipse (totality phase during 3 min 44 sec) lies in the Southern Indian Ocean near the French Southern and Antarctic Lands. I will very likely travel to Namibia where the duration is shorter and the weather prospects the best. This eclipse path is very similar to the one in December 2002, however totality will last longer.

You can use this solar eclipse calculator to compute the local circumstances of the eclipse, and the solar eclipse timer notifies the beginning of the various events. A time exposure calculator is there to help you choose your camera settings.
