Quite a few celebrities, mainly from the artistic world, have been spotted during total solar eclipses. They generally prefer to be left alone and not be disturbed. Some heads or former heads of state have attended solar eclipses such as Hosni Mubarak in March 2006 in Egypt, or Bill Clinton in Libya.

A few of them are real die-hard eclipse chasers that wouldn’t miss any.

Some celebrities have made the trip to French Polynesia for the 2010 July 11^th total solar eclipse.
