Total Lunar Eclipse of 2014 October 7-8
in the United States of America or Australia

The US Southwest or Northern Western Australia are the two best locations to observe this total lunar eclipse from as the chances of clear skies are good. Unfortunately I was clouded out in Southern Arizona by tropical storm Simon.
With my Lunar Eclipse Maestro software, you can know much more about each lunar eclipses and control your digital cameras to automate the photography part in order to fully enjoy the eclipse visually.

The next total lunar eclipse will occur on 2015 April 4. Should I travel for this very short lunar eclipse (less than five minutes), my viewing site will then likely be located in California to optimize the weather conditions.
