Partial Lunar Eclipse of 2013 April 25
 in France

Before my trip to Western Australia for the May 10th annular, a small partial lunar eclipse at moonrise could be observed from the suburbs of Paris in France. The sky was mostly clear, but became cloudy shortly after the Moon left the penumbra.
The next total lunar eclipse will occur on 2014 April 15 and my viewing site will likely be located in the Atacama desert in Chile to optimize the weather conditions.
