A couple of simple questions on mirror lock up.
1. I'm using a Nikon D4. During the partial eclipse phase I had the MUP enabled for each photo. 30 seconds before total eclipse I am using LVPSTART so that I don't have to include MUP on each photo and loose a little time. On my Nikon it seems the Exposure Delay Mode is enabled during the partial eclipse for taking the photos. That messes up my LVPSTART because the camera is still set at a Exposure Delay Mode therefore making my burst photos slower than it should be. Is there a command to set the Exposure Delay Mode to 0 before I enable LVPStart?
2. After I turned off MUP on the pictures before I enabled LVPSTART, the camera worked fine. During the Total Eclipse, I am using TKBST around C2, then I switch to the TAKEPIC command for a series of pictures for the corona. Then around C3 I revert to TAKEBST. The take burst photos seem to do fine. However when I take individual pictures it sounds like the mirror is going up on each picture. Since those are slower shutter speeds I'm worried about the mirror going up on each picture. I turned LVPSTART on at C2-30 and turn it off at C3+30. Is my hearing off or do I need a command for the TAKEPiC series of pictures.
