General Preferences
To set the application preferences in Solar Eclipse Maestro you have to open the Preferences dialog.
-
Choose Apple Menu > Preferences…

Numerous preference settings are only available through the use of contextual menus for the exposure compensation, the eclipse map, the Sun/Moon diagram, the lunar limb and sky chart windows.
It is highly recommended to always enable the "DSLR auto-locking controls when running a script" setting as it will greatly improve the tethered control of the digital cameras. Operations will for example be faster (substantially on Nikon cameras and to a lesser extent on Canon ones) and more reliable.
To be able to operate tethered live view and/or photography in live view from a script you need to enable the "Allow Live View when running a script" setting.
