Mercury Venus Transit Maestro 1.1.1ß1 for MacOS X Released

Postby juliacox » Sat Aug 24, 2024 5:33 am

The new Mercury Venus Transit Maestro 1.1.1ß1 is now available for download. :D

This update addresses all known issues from the previous 2016 version, along with several additional enhancements and optimizations. Significant under-the-hood improvements have been made as well.

Even though this is still a beta version, users of earlier releases are highly encouraged to upgrade due to the numerous bug fixes and feature improvements. This version now supports the latest Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Sony, Panasonic, and Olympus DSLRs and MILCs as of November 2019, with partial support for Pentax cameras. This ensures you can enjoy a smoother experience during transits, without concerns about your camera's compatibility. For more details, please refer to the included ReadMe file.

Please note that support for previous versions has ended effective immediately. If you encounter any issues, report them as soon as possible.

Key improvements and bug fixes include:

Enhanced compatibility with Lion
Adjusted ∆T value for the November 11, 2019 transit of Mercury
Support for the latest DSLRs from Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Sony, Panasonic, and Olympus as of November 2019
Numerous bug fixes
Minor user interface enhancements
Additional miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes

For comments, questions, or issues, please reach out on the support board. Registration is required to post, but you'll gain access to a wealth of shared knowledge from other users. Please post in English for a broader audience. I typically respond in English to messages in French, Italian, German, or Spanish, unless you specify otherwise.

Clear skies,

Xavier :)

P.S.: I will be traveling to Argentina and Chile after November 8th and will be unable to provide support during that time. Please check your setup as soon as possible. P.P.S.: A double transit, featuring both Mercury and the ISS, can be observed from select locations in Chile and Argentina.
