Xavier, your eclipse models and tools are really excellent!

I plan to photograph the Venus transit with a Canon 5D mark II through a Baader Herschel Prism and a 130mm aperture refractor at 1000mm focal length. Do you have any experience with one of these prisms and if so, any thoughts on alternate settings?

No personal experience with a Herschel prism, but I did have a look a couple of months ago. Adding a Solar Continuum filter is from what I was told even better.
