Script files? [Case Closed]

Postby rhminor » Mon Jun 22, 2009 4:52 am

Hello,

Wonderful tool! Downloaded vsn 1.0 today and it looks quite promising.

Connected to my NIkon D300, camera interacts correctly including live-view but I am having problem with scripts.
Also connects to Canon 350D with no problem.

But when I attempt to open or load one of the sample files, the program crashes. This occurs on both an intel Imac (os x 10.5.7) and on
a G4 powerbook (os x 10.5.7)

When load is selected, I see the documents folder (but no contents ) the rainbow wheel spins for a few seconds and then the program crashes.

The sample files are located in the "scripts solar eclipse maestro" sub folder.

What am I doing wrong?

thanks,

Bob Minor

Many others have no problems loading scripts, so I would need you to send me the crash log file and let me know if it happens with all scripts or one in particular.

To find the crash log file, please follow those instructions:
1. Launch the Console application located in your Utilities folder inside the Applications folder.
2. Once there make sure the "Log List" panel on the left is displayed. In the left hand side panel unfold the "LOG FILES > ~/Library/Logs" and then "CrashReporter".
3. Look for a .log file named after Solar Eclipse Maestro. This is the cryptic content I need you to send me.

I am also having the problem with the program crashing, although I am unsure of having access to the template script files (I can't find them, anyway), as we downloaded the program from your website.

Thanks for any help.

This bug will be fixed in the 1.0.1 release in a few days.

The bug fix release is now available, please visit:

The sample script files are installed in a "Scripts Solar Eclipse Maestro" folder inside your user Documents folder.
