Nikon D7500 USB connection

I am running the 1.9.0v1 on OS 10.6.8. The Nikon D7500 seems to fire and work correctly when I test it with the software but under "Hardware Configuration" it does not see the USB cable connected and when I load a script I do not see the exposures display.

Using a USB A to Micro b

Any troubleshooting tips?

All is well I just started with a new script, the camera is firing fine. I was worried because it did not show the USB cable connected but now I see the exposures showing up with the camera connected.
