Hi Xavier!
I'm trying to run Solar Eclipse Maestro 1.9.0v1 (SolarEclipseMaestro190v1Intel.dmg) with Alpha7RIV. In macOS Mojave. I have tried:

Oracle VM VirtualBox 7 but I run in to problem "Camera device ID 0x00000000 'ILCE-7RM4' [0x054c/0x0ccc] without image capture capability; skipping it"

and

VMware Workstation 17 Player the line is the same lacks only the model and looks like "Camera device ID 0x00000000 ' ' [0x054c/0x0ccc] without image capture capability; skipping it"

I have upgraded Firmware to 1.2. Tried two different USB-C Cables. Camera is fully operational in Sony Image Edge Desktop Edit/View/Remote.

Hello Xavier,
Just a backup note that I've sent you separately a long-winded email about my trials of SEM with a Sony 6000. Undeterred by all the negative reports for Sony, installed SEM on an old Macbook running Yosemite. App starts up fine, claims there is no USB cable connected even though there is, and the camera is recognized (ILCE-6000). And SEM does make the camera take an exposure every time commanded, by the "Fire" button or running script commands. Bad news is the exposure times are not the values commanded. The exposure time usually does change when a different value is in the script command, but not to that value.
As you mention in a reply to one of the other Sony mourners, there is a WiFi control path, but I gather it's this USB path to Sonys that's unworkable. I do have an iOS app called "Shutter" (website shutter.dev) that does accurately set exposure times through the WiFi path. I don't suppose there would be any way to cannibalize or hack that to patch a workable Sony control interface onto SEM??
