Preferred Lens Aperture

In the 'Configuration Wizard' on the 'Equipment' tab, does it matter what I set my 'Preferred lens aperture' to if I'm using my DSLR (a modded D610 incidentally) with a telescope? Is it necessary to modify the generated script with the f-number of my telescope (my scope is ~f/6.9 and I cannot edit to contain a custom value)?

When I use my camera without a lens the EXIF indicates f/0; does this configuration data make its way into the EXIF?

It doesn't really matter but using the closest value is best, so in your case f/7.1.
