Do you know if the RAMPxx commands only work on certain cameras? I'm developing a script and unable to get them to work...
For reference, I am using:
Camera: Nikon D7000
Computer: Mac Air (OS X 10.11.6) running SEM 1.8.5
I know the LPVSTART & LPVSTOP commands will not work with my camera (per your script instructions), so my test script was simply:
# Ramp Test
RAMPUP,C2,-,20.0,D7000,1/2000,4.5,200,0.0,RAW,None,Y,5,0.7,Ramping up 5
It only takes the first picture, and the log has:
Jul 26 19:40:29 Solar Eclipse Maestro[825] <Info>: Ramp up start of 5 exposures on camera #1 (line #2)
Jul 26 19:40:29 Solar Eclipse Maestro[825] <Info>: SIML +0.0s ISO 200 1/2000s f/4.5 RAW D7000 Ramping up 5 (5 frames at 0.7 stop)
Jul 26 19:40:29 Solar Eclipse Maestro[825] <Notice>: Unable to take ramp up picture #2 on camera #1 'D7000' (line #2 - Device Busy)
Jul 26 19:40:30 Solar Eclipse Maestro[825] <Notice>: Unable to take ramp up picture #3 on camera #1 'D7000' (line #2 - Device Busy)
Jul 26 19:40:30 Solar Eclipse Maestro[825] <Notice>: Unable to take ramp up picture #4 on camera #1 'D7000' (line #2 - Device Busy)
Jul 26 19:40:30 Solar Eclipse Maestro[825] <Notice>: Unable to take ramp up picture #5 on camera #1 'D7000' (line #2 - Device Busy)
Jul 26 19:40:31 Solar Eclipse Maestro[825] <Info>: Camera #1: capture complete [0x0000030A]
I've tried this test with the camera in both single shot and high-speed burst mode and get the same result. My best guess is that my camera is simply too slow to take advantage of this command, but thought I'd double check...
Thank you!
