SEM "Quit Unexpectedly" on Exit

Every time I exit from SEM, I get a message that says "Solar Eclipse Maestro quit unexpectedly".

Is this considered a crash?

I'm using version 1.8.5v1 on Yosemite.

If I uncheck Tips at Startup, and exit the program, should that setting be remembered the next time SEM is opened?

What about Camera names in Hardware Config, and cameras in the Camera Reference List? Should those be remembered if SEM is exited and then reopened?

Yes it is and you should have a crash report (sending me the crash report and the context can be useful so that I check the cause).
The current public release does sometimes crash on quit with certain configurations. Those settings are lost during the crash, most of them being updated only on quit.

Yes if there is no crash on quit.

Yes I would like to try the latest beta.

I'm sorry I don't have the logs anymore.

I put a new hard SSD in the Mac laptop and re-installed OSX from scratch since I first posted the question.

Hi Xaiver,

I forgot, I do have a log from today where SEM crashed hard and I had to "Force Quit Applications".

Although this was not related to the "Quit Unexpectedly" problem when closing. I have not seen that problem since the new OSX and SEM install.
