Problem with PLAY Announcements in 1.0.1 [Case Closed]

Postby ralphmegna » Fri Jun 26, 2009 6:22 pm

I am working on a script for the China 2009 TSE based on the "basic" script that comes with Maestro. The first significant changes were additional alerts, using the program's .wav files, at 5 mins, 2 mins, etc. I tested it with v1.0 and the announcements worked. I am now testing it in 1.0.1 and the time announcements don't play - HOWEVER, the simulated shutter can be heard and so can the "Filters Off" announcement. Weird. I've attached the script for further inspection.

Simple explanation: I have renamed the timing announcements with a more uniform naming format.

5seconds.wav becomes 5_Seconds.wav (note the underscore and the capital letter)

To see all the available sounds and their correct spelling, please read the application's internal help.

LOL. That is the second time this week that a small change in a support file name tripped up an astronomical application I am working with. Thanks - it will be easy to fix that problem.
