Solar Eclipse Maestro 1.7.1 for MacOS X released

Solar Eclipse Maestro 1.7.1 is now available for download.

This release fixes all the reported bugs since the previous version and many more; under the hood improvements were made as well.

Users of all the previous versions planning to connect a Nikon or Canon camera and a GPS are strongly urged to upgrade to this
version. Support for previous versions is terminated as of this day. Browse the ReadMe file to know more.
Please report soonest any problem you may encounter.

Here is a short list of the latest improvements and bugfixes:
- Ajusted the ∆T value for PSE 2011 June 1st
- Added a setting to freeze the simulated time flow rate
- Corrected a regression bug on the atmospheric refraction activation
- Corrected a regression bug on the eclipse map display
- Added a display of the spherically-stratified atmosphere models used to compute the atmospheric refraction
- Improvements for handling hybrid eclipses at the transition point(s)
- Corrected a display bug on the orthographic eclipse map PDF
- Preliminary support of the Nikon D5100
- Improved the image visualization of the sun from the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) and Solar & Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) satellites
- Fixed a crash when using the Solar Observatory
- User interface tweaks
- Miscellaneous bug fixes and enhancements
