This release fixes all the reported bugs and many more; it improves Snow Leopard support for Canon cameras and gives access to the brand new 550D.
Users of all the previous versions planning to connect a Nikon or Canon camera and a GPS are strongly urged to upgrade to this
version. Support for previous versions is terminated as of this day. Browse the ReadMe file to know more.
Please report soonest any problem you may encounter as this version is likely to be used for the upcoming TSE.
Here is a short list of improvements and bugfixes:
- Added support for burst mode on Canon cameras (previously only available on Nikon DSLRs)
- Support of extended ISO range up to 102400
- Fix for Garmin GPS units that weren't detected in all previous releases
- Fix for a shutter speed and aperture problem with Canon cameras
- User interface tweaks
- Fix for a battery level not shown on Canon cameras
- Better support of higher ISO sensitivity for the Nikon D3s
- Fix for a crash while generating some PDF format eclipse maps
- Preliminary support of the Canon EOS 550D
- Fix for the umbral shadow and solar terminator that weren’t always updated properly
- Fixed problems with Google Earth files for non-central eclipses
- Miscellaneous bug fixes and enhancements
