Will LEM be available prior to Jan 20 2019 TLE? [Case Solved

Postby DurtGurl » Tue Jan 08, 2019 5:17 am

Hello Xavier,
Is there any chance the Jan 2018 update of Lunar Eclipse Maestro will be provided prior to the rapidly approaching Jan 20th TLE? My Canon 5D3 and 6D are not recognized by LEM but are seen by SEM operated on a MacBook Pro with Mojave 10.14.2. SEM worked so amazingly well for me in Aug 2017 that I was hoping to do the same with LEM on Jan 20th. If an update with the Canon fixes will not be available, I'm guessing that I might be able use LEM to prepare my script and then run it on SEM? Any advice? Thanks, Kathleen

I have the exact same question.....running out of time.
Loved SEM back in Aug 2017
Any available scripts that are known to work with High Sierra?

Please send me an e-mail this coming weekend, I'll try to release a beta version before I fly to LAX.

Hi Xavier

Just checking back to see if you have had a chance to put together an updated beta version of LEM that will support Canon 5D3 and 6D?

Thanks
Rick

I'm working on it, lots of modifications to do as there have been lots of changes in the past three years! It should take me two more days if all goes well.

Do try with this beta.

This version, for use under Yosemite to Mojave, is untested although it should work with the newest Nikon and Canon cameras. If it does work then try to make a donation :D and if it doesn't then let me know soonest the issue encountered.

Have a great Super Wolf Blood Moon as the crazy media advertize the event!

Xavier, thank you so very much for your efforts! Will let you know if it loads up and recognizes the Canon cameras. And of course, a donation will be on the way soon after a successful shoot!!

I'm sad to report that this beta LEM crashes when I try to connect with my Canon 5DIII or 6D. Both cameras have the newest firmware and I am running Mojave 10.14.2. I'd be happy to send you the Mac error report for troubleshooting, just let me know if needed.

Rgalloway11 - were you able to get it running with your cameras?
