Mercury Venus Transit Maestro Installation

To install Mercury Venus Transit Maestro, do the following:

  1. First download the package installation file on your disk. Two versions of Mercury Venus Transit Maestro are now available:
    • Mercury Venus Transit Maestro 1.1.0 Intel meant for those who don’t need compatibility with the Canon EOS 350D/Rebel XT/Kiss N, 20D/20Da and 5D or use MacOS X 10.6.x (Snow Leopard) and newer. All the Nikon DSLRs and the SBIG CCD cameras are supported. The support of Canon DSLRs goes from the EOS 1D Mark III to the newest (EOS 1300D/Rebel T6/Kiss X80, 80D, 7D Mark II, 5D Mark IV, 5Ds/5DsR, 1D X Mark II).
    • Mercury Venus Transit Maestro 1.1.0 Universal Binary meant for those who use Canon cameras such as the EOS 350D/Rebel XT/Kiss N, 20D/20Da and 5D or use MacOS X 10.4.x (Tiger) or 10.5.x (Leopard). All the Nikon DSLRs and the SBIG CCD cameras are supported. The support of Canon DSLRs goes from the EOS 350D/Rebel XT/Kiss N, 20D/20Da and 5D to the EOS 60D.
    If you’re experiencing difficulties while installing Mercury Venus Transit Maestro and are running MacOS X 10.8.x (Mountain Lion), 10.9.x (Mavericks), 10.10.x (Yosemite), 10.11.x (El Capitan), 10.12.x (Sierra), 10.13.x (High Sierra) or 10.14.x (Mojave), then please take the time to understand Gatekeeper.
  2. Double-click the .dmg file and then launch the installer. An administrator password will be required to start the installation process.
  3. Once done quit the installer and launch Mercury Venus Transit Maestro located in your Applications folder. A folder named Scripts Mercury Venus Transit Maestro and containing sample scripts will have been copied to your regular Documents folder at the root of your user account.

To uninstall Mercury Venus Transit Maestro, do the following:

  1. Quit the Mercury Venus Transit Maestro application.
  2. Go to the Applications folder and then trash the Mercury Venus Transit Maestro application.

Advice: many parameters are controlled through the use of contextual menus. Take the time to explore them.
