Itinerary 2A : 2-day tour from/to Paris-Le Bourget airport (France)
Thursday, March 19th - Friday, March 20th 2015
12,990 € p.p. (no single supplement, night in double rooms)

Day 1: Thursday, March 19th 2015 - Paris to Longyearbyen and Barentsburg [B, L, D]
You shall arrive at Paris-Le Bourget business airport, latest at 6am. Our private aircraft will takeoff around 7am for a 5-hour flight. Breakfast served during the flight.
Lunch on arrival in Longyearbyen, and then 4-hour ride with snowmobiles to Barentsburg (please bring your driving licence) or at our camp further down the coast. If the weather is not good enough helicopter will be used for the transfer.
If the weather forecast for tomorrow is really bad, then we’ll likely to sleep inside the aircraft (equipment is in place) and cancel our visit and night in Barentsburg. That way we’ll be able to observe the eclipse in-flight from our private aircraft. The contingency flight plan will already be ready.
Overnight at the russian base in Barentsburg or at our camp.

Day 2: Friday, March 20th 2015 - E-Day in Svalbard with 2 min. 27 sec. of totality or in-flight with 3 min. 3 sec. [B, L, D]
After sunrise at 5:53am, we’ll enjoy a good breakfast. Then back on the snowmobiles to reach our eclipse viewing location. First contact occurs at 10:11am, second at 11:10am, third at 11:12am and fourth at 12:12pm with the eclipsed Sun at 11 degrees over the horizon.
After the eclipse we’ll have lunch before returning to Longyearbyen with the snowmobiles or by helicopter where we should arrive shortly before sunset.
Our private aircraft is waiting to take us back to Paris-Le Bourget. Takeoff around 7pm and arrival in Paris around midnight. Dinner will be served on board.
If we have to view the eclipse in-flight, then a few minutes after totality we’ll make our way back to Paris and have lunch as well on board. The arrival in Paris would then occur around 6pm.
End of tour.
