Referencing the Cameras

To reference the cameras in Solar Eclipse Maestro you have to open the Camera References List dialog.

  1. Choose Setup > Camera References…
  2. When a camera device is connected through the USB or Firewire bus and powered it will appear in the Hardware Configuration dialog once the camera is answering. Once you have given the camera a name and validated the dialog, the camera will be referenced.

  3. After selecting a camera, clicking on the Delete Reference button will remove the reference, i.e. the link between the camera serial number and its given name.
  4. When a camera with the same serial number is already registered, its given name will be changed to the new one provided.

The referencing will be used to automatically identify your cameras the next time. It will save you time.
